“Planning a wedding is hard work, and I have to admit, I really didn’t enjoy it. I feared the hype wouldn’t live up to the reality but thankfully, I was wrong. Our wedding weekend was genuinely the best weekend of my life, i’ve never experienced fun like it.

Segrave Barns is a gem of a venue and it’s run by the amazing dreamteam. John and Eugene. The selling point for us, was an outdoor wooded area to have our ceremony - you won’t see it pictured, because of course it rained! I was devastated and there were tears but in the end, it really didn’t make a difference.

We really wanted our day to be less wedding, more party and I hope we nailed that.

If you’re planning a wedding and want something a little different, halfway between Dundalk and Belfast - go see Segrave Barns. I wish we could do it all over again.

How amazing does this wedding look? (Louise Scott Photography captured the day so beautifully!) I think this gorgeous couple nailed the less wedding more party vibe for sure!! Julie chose a gorgeous dress by Rime Arodaky! She looked beautiful and it really suited the fab venue choice!! Absolutely adore her flowers!
