Today is the first of July, we are past the halfway way point of 2020…I don’t think anyone can quite take that in. Covid-19 has really played quite a number on us this year. We have been through all the emotions, the fear, the worry, the uncertainty and of course the grief of wedding postponements. I don’t think anyone was prepared for what 2020 would bring and the emotional roller coaster it has been so far!
As a bridal boutique when the gravity of the pandemic hit us, we realised the implications were going to be difficult to deal with. We love our job and we are excited for each bride, we have been saddened by the months of rescheduled weddings and we can only imagine the disappointment our brides have faced.
As difficult as we have found this global pandemic we are thankful for our health and safety over the past three months! We are very happy to have reopened our boutique and to welcome brides to find their dream wedding dress! We have been so busy and we are so thankful to each and every bride that has been to the boutique in the last few weeks since reopening and to those we have yet to meet!
We have amazing designers working hard to ensure everyone can have the dream dress they have always wanted, if you have less time than you had hoped to dress shop please don’t worry - please don’t hesitate to contact us to make a date, our designers can get your dress in time!
We are so excited to welcome you all back to the boutique and embrace the ‘new normal’. We have implemented measures to ensure our brides have the same special experience!
What to expect at your appointment?
1. We're very fortunate to have two dressing rooms in our boutique...so we will be alternating rooms for each appointment so that each room can be aired and sanitised after each appointment.
2. On arrival we will kindly request you to sanitise your hands - a non-contact hand sanitiser has been installed at our entrance outside! Our stylist will be sanitising her hands before & after each appointment.
3. We kindly request that you bring max. two guests with you so that we can adhere to social distancing guidelines throughout the boutique.
4. We also kindly ask that you bring your own face masks with you when you are in close proximity with our stylist as they assist you to try on your beautiful dresses!
5. We totally appreciate that this global pandemic has changed our approach to life, the way we work and the way in which we live our lives... we can only hope that it won't be forever! If you are feeling ill or have a temperature please get in touch to reschedule your date with us!
