The White Era Launches at Paris Fashion Week

One of Ireland’s most influential podcasts hosted by Ashley McDonnell - Tech Powered Luxury - was “Live From Paris Fashion Week” to showcase Irish design on the global stage at the Embassy of Ireland on Avenue Foch. The White Era was one of nine Irish designers to showcase at Paris Fashion Week at The Hôtel de Breteuil - the home of the Embassy of Ireland since 1954 - on Thursday 26th September during Paris Fashion Week. The beautiful host and lady who organised this incredible event - Ashley McDonnell - chose to wear one of the pieces from The White Era. Ashley looked sensational in a stunning long sleeve, high neck mini dress, adorned in beautiful Italian floral applique. The White Era Designer, Rachel Morgan, also wore ‘The One’ mini dress from the collection. Rachel styled her dress with a black organza bow - showcasing the versatility of the collection and the wearability even after ‘The White Era’.

The White Era was showcasing the brand’s debut collection which is made with a couture process, each dress meticulously put together resulting in a luxurious finish. What makes this collecction unique is that 'The One' dress can be styled with a cute bow (worn to centre front/back at waist or the neckline), a couture bow, couture Roses worn over the bust, gloves & Ostrich feather trim option... essentially creating many different looks with The One dress. Meaning that a bride can wear 'The One' at all the special occasions during her White Era (from engagement right through to day two of the wedding day celebrations)…simply changing the look with a different accessory from The White Era edit.

Guests in attendance included members of the international media (Forbes, Vogue), buyers from leading retailers around the world, international designers, leading figures from major luxury brands and retailers, influencers, entrepreneurs at the crossroads of luxury and technology as well as prominent Irish artists from entertainment and fashion. The evening finished with a private acoustic performance from Ireland’s leading pop group, Picture This. Two of the bands members pictured here with Rachel & Ashley at the event in the stunning Irish Embassy….looks like everyone got the monochrome memo!

Every last detail at the event had been given so much thought and was truly a celebration of luxury at every touch point. The florals by @lesfloralies.cler were breathtakingly beautiful, the refreshments from Five Farms Irish Cream and French Bloom were divine, Irish make up brand Ayu Makeup Ireland ensured all the guests looked incredible and in addition to an acoustic set by Picture This, guests at the event were entertained by @cianduignan on the decks. Cian also shot some amazing content for @thewhite_era - which will be released very soon!!
